Description: The 29th foundation day of the St. Joseph College was celebrated with great fun and gaiety through various musical and cultural extravaganzas in the sprawling grounds of Rajajipuram branch. On this occasion the new edition of annual magazine of the college family was also issued. The Chief Guest of St. Joseph college’s 29th foundation day was Mr. Pankaj Singh, State General Secretary, UP, BJP and in the capacity of respected guest Mr. Suresh Kumar Srivastava apart from the other gentry of the city were present. The programs began as per the college’s tradition after the lighting of the lamps and prayer to the Goddess of knowledge Mother Saraswati in a proper ritualistic way. The guests were welcomed by the Founder Chairperson of the St. Joseph group of institutions Mrs. Pushplata Agarwal. The chief guest released the new issue of the college’s annual magazine on this occasion all the respected members of the Board Of Directors were present. In the sequence of musical extravaganzas the kids showcased their talents, watching these programs, all were greatly amazed, and seeing their talent, they were quite overwhelmed. The students of class X made an emotional appeal to the people to save their environment for their future through their power packed performance in their small skit based on environments security and enacted on the eve of the Earth Day. The children got the whole hearted support of the people for their skit. The children made the people realize the culture of Unity in Diversity through their group dance and musical extravaganzas. People were made to sway to the enchanting performance of Gujrat’s Dandiya, Maharastra’s Lavni, Puanjabi’s Bhangra and Gidda as well as folk dances of Rajasthan. At the same time, The class-V students aroused a sense of spiritualism in the people through their Sufi Song whereas the mighty Bhangra made alive the festival of Vaishakhi.
